Rap legend Lil Wayne teases a Fortnite collab: “Where we dropping?

Fortnite will soon add another Grammy Award-winning rap icon to the game. Lil Wayne, famous for songs like Lollipop and Fireman, recently teased a collab with Fortnite via his Instagram account.

This would make Lil Wayne the second rap artist confirmed to partner with Fortnite and get an in-game skin, after recent leaks and images suggest Ken Carson is also joining the game. Although this crossover is in the early stages, here is everything we know.

Although this doesn’t necessarily confirm the collaboration, leakers such as HYPEX and ShiinaBR have circulated the report. It also would not be the first time we’ve seen someone of Lil Wayne’s popularity collaborate with Fortnite.

We’ve seen artists such as Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Juice WRLD, Ariana Grande, Lady Gaga, and many more follow a similar path. Lil Wayne easily belongs among those names for his contributions to the rap industry.

What can I expect in this collab?

Lil Wayne would be an ideal candidate for a Fortnite Festival season. However, Lil’ Tecca just headlined Season 15, which won’t conclude until Oct. 31. That means the Lil Wayne Fortnite collab will follow a similar beat to the Olivia Rodrigo crossover.

She debuted during Season 14 with two skins, Festival Jam Tracks, and other cosmetics. We expect something similar, if not identical, in this scenario. Lil Wayne will likely have a Fortnite skin or two, plus various cosmetics and Jam Tracks.
